Hi, Everyone: I hope you all have had a relaxing and enjoyable National Week holiday. I think the homework is Lesson 6 - Euthanasia, p.79 to 94. Read it over. Discover some new words. Give some thought to this highly-debatable topic. Some questions to think about: Who should decide whether a terminally-ill person should be allowed to end his/her (hiers?) life? Would factors should be considered when weighing this decision? Is the state obligated to keep terminally-ill or brain-dead people alive? At whose expense - the family's or the state's? If you find any interesting articles on this topic, please email them to the class monitor and to me at jinanjiva@yahoo.ca. Thanks, and see you on Tuesday! Teacher Steve
